The Digital Radio Mondiale Consortium is holding its first post-Covid in-person General Assembly in Palma de Mallorca, Spain, April 27–28 under the banner “Smart, Local and Efficient.”
The DRM Consortium is inviting people to join the open day of the event on April 27 via Zoom. The session will include updates from various countries, including Indonesia, India, South Africa, Brazil and Germany.
The receiver session scheduled for the same day will feature feedback from NXP, Skyworks, Cambridge Consultants/CML Microcircuits, Gospell, Inntot, Fraunhofer IIS, Starwaves and other manufacturers. The following day — Apr. 28 — DRM members will debate and finalize the strategic directions for the coming year.
DRM Chairman, Ruxandra Obreja, says, “We want to make the DRM General Assembly 2023 a showcase for our sustained effort and future activities in a challenging but successful year. The DRM Consortium is a dynamic family of great members, associates and supporters. Its valuable expertise and activity make DRM a perfect solution for the current challenges faced by audio broadcasting, allowing everyone to stay informed, educated and safe wherever they are.”
