DAB receiver sales pass 166 million as digital radio expands globally
Broadcast automation software developer Broadcast Radio has announced that Myriad Playout has integration with the Promo Only Pool music service.
Starting with version 6.9 of Myriad Playout subscribers to the Promo Only Pool service have “direct access to Promo Only music downloads from within the Myriad Import Wizard. Stations subscribing to Promo Only can now browse, preview and download the latest clean music without leaving Myriad, creating a much faster workflow for adding new content to their libraries,” the announcement said.
Broadcast Radio Commercial Director Liam Burke said, “One of the biggest challenges for broadcasters is getting great new content on-air quickly. With Myriad v6.9,we’ve removed several steps from that process. Stations can find new music, import it, and have it ready for broadcast in minutes, all from within the same system they use every day.”

In addition to the Promo Only Pool integration Myriad Playout 6.9 adds other new features including automatic metadata population, improved audio importing and several performance and reliability enhancements.
