Beasley Media Group Detroit has partnered with the Michigan Black Business Alliance to support Black-owned businesses and expand community engagement initiatives across southeast Michigan.
The partnership involves Beasley stations 105.9 KISS-FM, 105.1 The Bounce and Detroit Praise, which the company says will use their on-air programming, digital platforms and community outreach activities to promote MBBA initiatives, local entrepreneurs and business resources across the Detroit market.
Matt Scarano, vice president and market manager at Beasley Media Group Detroit, described the collaboration as an extension of the broadcaster’s community engagement strategy. He said the stations intend to use their platforms to increase visibility for businesses and organizations working across Detroit communities. “This partnership is about using the strength of our platforms to elevate voices, create opportunity, and support the communities we serve,” said Scarano. “We’re proud to work alongside the Michigan Black Business Alliance to help shine a light on the incredible work being done across Detroit and to make a lasting impact.”

The broadcaster said the collaboration will also focus on connecting audiences with local business opportunities and community resources.
Charity Dean, CEO of the Michigan Black Business Alliance, views the partnership as an opportunity to broaden awareness of its economic development work and strengthen connections with audiences across the region. “We are excited to partner with Beasley Media Group to further our mission of advancing economic equity and supporting Black-owned businesses,” said Dean. “This collaboration allows us to expand our reach, share important stories, and connect more deeply with the community we serve.”
Beasley Media Group said the partnership will also highlight business success stories and community programming that reflect Detroit’s entrepreneurial and cultural landscape, adding that the initiative is intended to support longer-term engagement among local media platforms, businesses and community organizations.
