U.S. large radio station group owner Beasley Media Group has announced that Adam Star has returned to the fold and is taking over its Augusta, Ga., cluster of stations. Star had previously been operations manager for Beasley’s Fort Meyers, Fla., group which was sold.
Beasley Media Group Vice President of Operations AJ Lurie said, “Adam has a great instinct for what connects with audiences and how to position our brands for growth. We’re looking forward to the energy and perspective he brings as he partners with the team in Augusta.”
Star said, “I’m thrilled to return to Beasley and work with the Augusta team. I look forward to building on the strong foundation already in place.”
The announcement said, “Star will oversee programming strategy for the cluster, collaborating closely with an experienced team of programmers, including Operations Manager Tee Gentry and Chris O’Kelley.”
