CRA unveils ‘Audio x Mixed Media Modeling’ session at Heard 2025
Bauer Media Audio has announced that it has completed its acquisition of audio streaming software provider SharpStream.
SharpStream is counted on by some of the world’s biggest brands to stream their audio content live to internet audiences, including high-profile sports broadcasters like the ATP and Le Mans Racing Series and smaller niche, ethnic and community audio broadcasters.
The company has been a long-term partner of Bauer Media Audio across Europe, providing services to seven of Bauer Media Audio’s local markets — Slovakia, Norway, Sweden, Portugal, Denmark, Ireland and the U.K.
As part of Bauer Media Audio, SharpStream will be able to leverage the capacities of the wider business to continue growing and developing. The acquisition signifies an important step in Bauer Media Audio’s transformation as the business moves forward into its next stage of digital development.
Bauer Media Audio president Vivian Mohr said, “I’m incredibly excited to officially welcome SharpStream to Bauer Media Audio. In our time together, we’ve been incredibly impressed by the team’s capabilities and outcomes, and we look forward to working together further to enable new experiences for our customers and listeners alike.”
