Barix adds to RetailPlayer family

Barix has released its latest addition to its RetailPlayer family of background music solutions: RetailPlayer TPA400.

Equipped with an amplified output, RetailPlayer TPA400 drives 4 to 8 ohms loudspeakers with a maximum output power of 6W, making it a solution for smaller locations. It is powered via PoE, which facilitates easy installation.

The TPA400 comes fully loaded with all the features of the RetailPlayer application, including high-quality audio streaming with a three-layer failover mechanism or stored music playout, schedulers for streams or playlists, volume and opening hours and RTP forwarding.

Subscribing to RetailHero allows users to schedule assets such as ads and announcements and play audio cues on-demand. Furthermore, the RetailPlayer TPA400 seamlessly integrates with the RetailPlayer Portal, Barix’s cloud-hosted management system that streamlines the control of RetailPlayer installations.
