The Alliance for IP Media Solutions has partnered with the Video Services Forum and the Advanced Media Workflow Association to present IP Oktoberfest 2021, a live, interactive, virtual event for broadcast and Pro AV professionals. The event is free and scheduled for Sept. 28–30.
Each day will start at 10 a.m. EDT (4 p.m CEST) and will offer opportunities for education, interaction and networking. Experts from across the industries will present technical papers, use cases, facility overviews, and other educational and informative content to illustrate the latest advances in IP-based technologies and media workflows.
Paper presentations will examine recent advances in supporting standards, protocols and technologies, and also highlight real-world deployments of IP systems for production operations.
IP Oktoberfest is set up just like an in-person event, explains the organizers. The main stage will host presentations, and attendees can break off to other virtual rooms to discuss and ask questions. The interactive platform also has a virtual pub (BYOB) for more informal chats.
