The country’s FM spectrum is congested, and attempts to free up some of the spectrum for new players is proving difficult
AETA Audio Systems is expanding its global footprint with new distribution partners in southern Europe. Aret Video and Audio Engineering in Italy and Ibertel Telecom in Spain have signed on as AETA’s newest distributors.
With the tagline, “simple and safe audio links,” AETA designs and develops a full range of audio and IP codecs for radio and television broadcast markets.
Aret is a systems integrator and distributor based in Milan. Founded 40 years ago, it has expertise in radio and TV production and post production IP infrastructures.
Madrid-based Ibertel Telecom specializes in turnkey radio and TV installations, as well as providing maintenance services for equipment installed in its centers or customer sites.
Aret and Ibertel are going to represent AETA’s entire product range in their individual southern European nations. Each firm will manage distribution, installation, training and after-sales support.
“These partnerships are a coherent way to increase AETA’s brand visibility and product availability across southern Europe,” said Yann Vonarburg, general manager of AETA Audio Systems. “Thanks to our collaboration, we’re now able to offer our advanced technology to Italian and Spanish broadcasters, as well as to provide access to a fast and experienced technical team for training and support.”
