The National Association of Broadcasters is accepting nominations for its 2027 Technology Awards, which recognize contributions to broadcast engineering, digital leadership and technology innovation. NAB will recognize the honorees at NAB Show 2027, April 4-7 in Las Vegas.
The Digital Leadership Award recognizes an individual at a broadcast station, group or network who has advanced a broadcast business’s digital success through new and emerging technologies. The Engineering Achievement Awards, presented in radio and television categories, honor individuals whose accomplishments have made a lasting contribution to the broadcast industry.
The Technology Innovation Award recognizes an organization for groundbreaking research and development in communications technology. Eligible technologies must demonstrate significant technical merit, be showcased at NAB Show and remain precommercial when considered.
“Innovation in broadcasting is driven by people who see what’s possible and turn ideas into solutions,” said John Clark, NAB chief innovation officer and senior vice president of emerging technology. “With the NAB Technology Awards, we recognize the engineers, digital leaders and innovators whose work advances our industry and helps shape what comes next.”
Nominations for the Digital Leadership Award and Engineering Achievement Awards are due Jan. 19, 2027. The deadline for the Technology Innovation Award is March 1, 2027.
