Automation developer Broadcast Radio is looking for a few (or many) good testers willing to give its Myriad Playout 7 a spin a few months before the official full Myriad 7 platform release at the end of the year.
The free public Myriad Playout 7 beta is available here.
Broadcast Radio’s Liam Burke said, “All new software undergoes intense internal testing (alpha testing) before being shared with a small selection of station who test our products at their stations (closed beta testing), but our customer base covers everyone from small bedroom broadcasters to multi-national media groups, and everyone in between.”
He expanded the thought, “Myriad is often used in subtly different ways by different broadcasters, so wider public beta testing provides a safe mechanism for customers to test the latest we have to offer, in the very specific way in which they work. This provides valuable feedback about reliability, workflows and real-world performance, ahead of a wider full release.”
“Allowing customers to test software in their own environment and with their own station workflows is a vital part of our approach to helping stations make great radio,” he added.
