DHD Audio will showcase a new collaboration with ai|coustics at Hamburg Open 2025, taking place Jan. 15–16 at the Hamburg Messe & Congress Centre. The highlight at DHD’s booth (Stand 207, Hall B6) is the integration of ai|coustics’ reconstructive voice enhancement technology into the XD3 IP Core.
“This integration equips live broadcasters and postproduction editors with tools to address audio defects that were previously nearly impossible to fix,” said Christoph Gottert, DHD’s international sales manager. “Applications include improving the clarity of a sports commentator in a noisy stadium or a weather presenter in a storm. The process uses the speaker’s own voice to reconstruct missing or degraded elements — whether it’s a fraction of a second, a word or an entire phrase — while preserving the original vocal characteristics.”

DHD’s XD3 IP Core is a central component in the company’s digital audio systems, handling audio processing, control surface connections and input/output routing. It supports IP audio feeds, remote device control, automated workflows and product virtualization. The 1U XD3 IP Core offers a range of connectivity options, including Audinate Dante, AES67/Ravenna, AES3/EBU, Gigabit Audio, APC, MADI and analog.
The XD3 range includes three modules: the controller and IP core, a 12K router extension and a DSP extension for additional audio processing. The modules can operate individually or as a fully synchronized redundant pair with seamless switching.
