WorldDAB and the European Broadcasting Union are hosting a webinar to focus on DAB+ and hybrid radio in the car. Titled “DAB+ at the heart of hybrid,” it takes place online on Wednesday, March 10, 2–4 p.m. GMT (3–5 p.m. CET).
The future of audio in the car is evolving with connectivity, voice control, large color displays and apps. Within WorldDAB, broadcasters and vehicle manufacturers are working together to implement solutions that keep radio prominent, while building a great radio experience for the listener.
In this two-hour webinar, hybrid radio specialists will share their insights on how broadcasters “can turn threats into opportunities, develop new content and business models, and keep radio prominent in the car dash of tomorrow.” They’ll explain why hybrid radio, underpinned by DAB+, is a firm foundation on which to build radio’s future in the car.
WorldDAB’s Jacqueline Bierhorst and EBU’s Ben Poor will be joined by Elisha Sessions, moderator, and Nick Piggott (RadioDNS), Laurence Harrison (Radioplayer Worldwide), Andrea Heidrich (Radioplayer Austria), Joe D’Angelo (Xperi), Cas Adriani (Pluxbox) and Xavier Filliol (Radioline) for a panel discussion.
The webinar is free to attend, but registration is required.
