WorldCast Systems says it will introduce a new monitoring solution for FM and HD Radio at the 2026 NAB Show, as broadcasters continue to balance analog and digital transmission requirements.
The company will officially unveil the Audemat FM/HD Probe at the Las Vegas Convention Center, positioning it as a tool designed to support quality control, compliance and performance monitoring across hybrid FM/HD environments.
WorldCast says the Audemat FM/HD Probe is designed to monitor HD1, HD2 and HD3 channels alongside FM and RDS services, providing continuous supervision of signal presence, audio levels and metadata integrity. The system also tracks alignment between analog and digital paths, which the company says is intended to help broadcasters maintain consistency across platforms.
Built to integrate
According to WorldCast, the probe includes NRSC mask monitoring and real-time spectrum analysis, allowing engineers to check regulatory compliance and identify out-of-tolerance conditions. It also measures FM/HD alignment to support synchronization between analog and digital signals, which can reduce perceived delays between services.
The unit includes real-time audio streaming and recording for both FM and HD signals, enabling off-site monitoring and investigation of alarms. WorldCast says notifications can be delivered via email and SNMP to support faster response times when issues occur.
The system uses a web-based interface with remote access and is designed for deployment at studios, transmitter sites or off-air monitoring locations. WorldCast says its hardware platform is built to integrate into existing broadcast workflows.
Julien Libeau, business developer manager of WorldCast Systems USA, said, “As HD Radio continues to expand across the U.S. market, broadcasters need precise and reliable tools to guarantee signal integrity and regulatory compliance. The Audemat FM/HD Probe has been designed to provide engineers with a powerful yet intuitive monitoring solution that simplifies HD supervision while maintaining the highest level of performance and accuracy.”
WorldCast will demonstrate the Audemat FM/HD Probe at booth C2250.
