Not an actual big cat but the new LiON compact audio processor will be available for viewing at the Wheatstone stand, 8.C91.
From the Audioarts marque, the LiON is a half-rack FM/HD Radio five-band processor with a multipath controller onboard.
According to the company if features, “advanced multiband AGC and limiting/clipping algorithms developed specifically for today’s source content and listening devices.” In addition it “includes stereo enhance, RDS generator and power controller for compliance with the ITU BS.412 stereo modulation standards, among other features.”
There’s also an onboard bass management system for cleaning up bass distortion. Also included is a BS.1770 loudness controller with a settable LUFS target. Equalizers are shelf and parametric.
Of course it is fully compatible with WheatNet-IP audio network and related components. It also offers Wheatstone baseband192 for 192 kHz MPX making possible a complete digital audio chain. It can be operated locally via the front-panel or remotely over IP via a remote app.
