Radio Botswana upgrades with Calrec’s IP-native Type R mixing system
At IBC2024, Vortex Communications will highlight a significant advancement in its CallMe flagship hardware: SIP dual streaming.
The inclusion makes CallMe units compatible with other manufacturers’ codecs that support SIP dual streaming and ensures robust, reliable remote connections in case of internet connection issues. It is now included in all CallMe hardware products, including the CallMe-T low-cost hardware codec, CallMe-G IP upgrade for GSGC-5 ISDN mixers and the CallMe-RC RØDECaster IP codec add-on.
CallMe provides cost-effective connectivity solutions for journalists, reporters and guest contributors without the need for dedicated hardware or download special software providing affordable, reliable 22kHz audio connections.
Vortex will also profile CallMe RC, which offers remote connectivity as a simple add-on for the popular RØDECaster Pro II and duo audio mixers. It provides fully integrated IP audio connectivity without the need for any modification or external interface.
Also on show will be the new CMH CallMe Hub, which provides remote monitoring and control. It lets users browse to a control screen showing status and provides remote control for all CallMe broadcast solutions.
Vortex is at Stand 8F60 at IBC2024.
