Triton releases Canadian podcast numbers
Podcast audience market researcher Triton Digital has released new podcast audience numbers for Canada
Triton Digital has released the latest Netherlands Podcast Report. The report provides insight into the top 12 networks and top 100 podcasts in the Netherlands from Aug. 2–29, as measured by Triton’s Podcast Metrics measurement service.
Findings for this reporting period found that NPO/Ster remained in the top spot with 1.6 million average weekly downloads and 534,000 average weekly users. DPG Media followed with 506,000 average weekly downloads and 263,000 average weekly users. NRC Media ranked third with 432,000 average weekly downloads and 184,000 average weekly users.
In addition, the company points out that the top podcasts are also ranked by average weekly downloads, in accordance with the latest IAB Podcast Technical Measurement Guidelines. The country’s leading podcasts by average weekly downloads include NOS Met het Oog op Morgen (NPO Radio 1 / NOS), NU.nl Dit wordt het nieuws (DPG Media BV) and Eerst Dit (NPO Radio 5 / EP / IZB). NRC Vandaag (NRC Media) remained in the first spot this reporting period.
