As an exclusive distributor of Jünger Audio products, Telos Alliance is offering a trade-in program for Dolby equipment to upgrade to a Jünger package.
The plan lets customers get US$1000 off the purchase of a Jünger D*AP8 bundle (FLX, TAP or MAP with Dolby option) when they trade-in a Dolby DP569, DP570, DP571, DP572 or LM100 unit.
Telos Alliance says that despite significant changes in modern broadcast infrastructure, Dolby Digital, Dolby Digital Plus, and Dolby E still play an important role in station and network workflows. However, some of the original tools provided by Dolby Laboratories are discontinued or incompatible with current operating systems and infrastructures, notes the company.
The Jünger D*AP8 series processors provide certified encoding, decoding, metadata processing and emulation, offering modern and user-friendly alternatives to the original tools, according to Telos Alliance.
Specialists will work with customers to determine the appropriate Jünger bundle to replace their Dolby unit. Jünger published a technical recommendation on Dolby DP-series replacements here.
