The Radio Academy, the U.K. membership charity dedicated to promoting excellence in audio and radio, has announced its ReelWorld Radio Academy 30 Under 30 list. This list celebrates young leaders in audio who are shaping the industry’s future.
Each year, the list recognizes 30 individuals under 30 who have shown exceptional talent, tenacity and a clear career trajectory in radio and audio. The Radio Academy views these individuals as future leaders in the sector, embodying a passion and understanding of the medium that will help drive it forward.
The 2024 list features content creators, news editors, presenters, producers, production managers and others, ranging from independent freelancers to those at major broadcast and podcast platforms. It underlines the breadth and diversity of talent in the U.K. audio and radio industry.
Past 30 Under 30 alumni who have achieved broad success include TV presenter Ben Shephard, head of BBC Asian Network Ahmed Hussain, and presenter Emma-Louise Amanshia, who presented at this year’s Radio Academy Festival.

The Radio Academy reviewed hundreds of nominations in a rigorous judging process to select its 2024 class of thirty, with generous support from audio imaging specialists ReelWorld.

The talent and achievements of the 2024 class confirm that the future of audio is in capable hands.”
