MUET FM 92.6 — Pakistan’s only campus radio hosted by a public-sector engineering university — is seeking potential collaborators to broaden student interns’ perspectives on radio production, programming and effective audience engagement. Based at Mehran University of Engineering and Technology (MUET) in Jamshoro, the station broadcasts in English, Urdu and Sindhi to make its content accessible to diverse audiences.
According to Station Manager Saqib Abro, on-air and podcast programming covers topics vital to today’s youth and emerging professionals, including career insights, technological advancements, startup opportunities, research and community engagement.
“As we continue to expand,” says Abro, “I am reaching out to broadcasters and media professionals worldwide to contribute to our mission. Your expertise and unique experiences could be invaluable in helping our students build strong foundations in broadcasting. We invite you to share your ideas or join us as a guest contributor. Together, we can empower the next generation of radio professionals and innovators.”
If you would like to contact Abro and the rest of the MUET FM 92.6 team, you can do so via email or the station’s Facebook page.
