StreamGuys has enlarged its programmatic advertising business with a professional consulting service that helps broadcasters and content publishers build upon their baseline advertising revenue. The company says the service assigns revenue experts as advocates for clients that lack the internal resources and external relationships to manage programmatic campaigns, audience extension strategies and ad tech infrastructure. The latter includes technical audits that verify ad triggers have been properly transposed into ad servers and that inventory requests produce live impressions.
The same StreamGuys team will help clients find more creative solutions to build advertising revenue than agencies with fewer industry relationships or less hands-on experience working with ad tech infrastructure. Creative solutions include audience extension, in which StreamGuys helps a client meet a specific advertising goal — such as unique listener impressions or total impressions — by plugging the client into its programmatic ad network to generate enough traffic to meet the goal. StreamGuys can also convert live streams into on-demand files (or vice versa) using its SGrecast system, while retaining all existing ad breaks, enabling dynamic ad replacements within the files or streams.
