Telos Alliance‘s Axia StudioEdge is a high-density AoIP edge device for broadcasters who want to add substantial audio I/O to a Livewire+ AES67 network with minimal space and setup effort. Its fanless 2RU design makes it an all-in-one I/O solution. It can be used in-studio to expand console local I/O, or in TOCs and machine rooms as a facility-wide ingest, routing and monitoring point.
I/O includes four selectable mic/line inputs, eight dedicated line inputs and outputs, and three digital inputs and outputs configurable as AES/EBU, S/PDIF, or USB audio, eliminating the need for an IP driver in stereo applications. Two headphone outputs with independent DACs and amplifiers, a USB audio file player, four GPI/O ports, a five-port Ethernet switch with PoE, and an internal power supply with redundant backup power option add to its versatility.
A five-inch IPS touchscreen provides complete control of routing, I/O and audio levels, with a networked HTML5 interface available for remote operation. StudioEdge also includes an eight-output monitor matrix and supports 32 streams in and 32 out on Livewire+ AES67 networks.
