Registration is now open for the Swiss Radio Day on 25 August at Kaufleuten in Zürich. The annual event is the biggest day on the calendar for the Swiss radio industry and is the only one which represents all the language regions in Switzerland.
Entirely radio-focused, the organizers promise a wide program of topics about new radio formats, democracy, new listener research, podcast media, sound design and new spaces for media production. The event also provides an opportunity to network with an open-ended networking lunch afterwards.
For people who aren’t able to make the trip, RadioSwissDay has made it a hybrid event with all presentations live-streamed over the internet. Last year’s event hosted over 370 participants, 29 speakers and 14 sessions; you can get an overview of what happened here.
Thanks to the support of partners Swisscom Broadcast, SRG, VSP, RRR, Unikom, Digris, SwissMediaCast, Audion, SUISA, Swissperform and IFPI, participation is free for all Swiss radio stations and industry partners.
