StreamGuys will return to the Hispanic Radio Conference on June 11–12 in Houston, where the company plans to share its latest strategies for digital monetization and audience targeting with Hispanic broadcasters.
According to StreamGuys, quoting a report appearing on HispanicAd.com, U.S. Hispanic radio reaches around 40 million over-the-air listeners each month. StreamGuys says that figure underscores the continued value of Hispanic radio while also highlighting the growing importance of digital platforms such as ad-supported podcasts and streaming audio.
Timothy LaBelle, head of sales at StreamGuys, said the company sees significant opportunities for Hispanic broadcasters to grow digital revenue. “The shift to digital is still happening throughout radio, but we see an especially strong opportunity to help Hispanic broadcasters monetize more of their digital content,” he said. “That includes dynamic ad insertions, audience extension and programmatic campaigns, as well as support for geotargeting and geoblocking, which have proven particularly useful for live sports streaming.”

The role of AI in streamining digital workflows
StreamGuys has expanded its client base in the Hispanic market, working with broadcasters including Latino Media Network and WAPA Media in Puerto Rico. The company also launched a revenue support and consulting service earlier this year.
Eduardo Martinez, vice president of technology at StreamGuys, will speak on a June 12 panel titled “Emerging Trends and Technology,” from 2:20 to 3 p.m. The session, moderated by Dara Kalvort, corporate vice president of digital sales and strategy at Spanish Broadcasting System, will explore the tools and trends shaping Hispanic radio’s future.
Martinez plans to discuss the role of AI in streamlining digital workflows, including StreamGuys’ February launch of an AI-powered service for ad marker tagging. “In addition to helping broadcasters make money through digital advertising, we’re excited to show how AI can help automate tasks like midroll tagging for server-side ad insertion,” he said.
The Hispanic Radio Conference takes place at the Sheraton North Houston.
