
IBC has announced Stephen Nuttall as the new chair of its Partnership Board. The board, which provides governance and strategic oversight for IBC, includes representatives from the six partner organizations that own IBC: IABM, IEEE, IET, RTS, SCTE and SMPTE.
Nuttall has over 30 years of leadership experience in sports, media and digital industries. He has held senior roles at pay-TV companies, online businesses and sports rights organizations. Recently, he led media production and distribution for the 36th and 37th America’s Cup and motorsports events at Goodwood. He is also a senior advisor to Searchlight Capital Partners, a private equity fund.
“Our industry is undergoing rapid and transformational change powered by new technological innovation,” said Mike Crimp, IBC CEO. “Stephen has a track record of clear strategic thinking alongside commercial and operational success. His experience in media and telecommunications will be invaluable as IBC navigates the opportunities ahead. I look forward to working with him to ensure IBC’s continued growth.”

IBC2025 is Sept. 12-15 at the RAI, Amsterdam.
