At last year’s RedTech Summit there was a lot of talk about content; radio is a prolific producer of content, and that content has value beyond the moment. Linear radio and digital content production and distribution are not in competition with each other; they should be complementary.
Audio transmission software specialist Ferncast knows this all too well and is hosting a free webinar on March 7 titled “Aspects of modern in-house-streaming from DAB/FM to Archiving,” to illustrate ways to simplify workflows through efficient reuse of audio content.
Ferncast experts Bernd Geiser and Tobias Dornbusch will discuss new options for using DAB and FM signals as inputs for various purposes, including using DAB/FM signals as inputs for restreaming as online radio, monitoring FM signals, and supporting a modern legal copy archiving system. It will also look at concerns surrounding in-house streaming, including archiving and monitoring.
The webinar is targeted at system managers, audio engineers and anyone who handles the reuse of audio signals or manages audio archival for a broadcaster or radio station. The event is on Mar. 7 at 10am CET, and a recording will be sent to all registrants afterwards.
