Radiodays Asia wrapped up its virtual conference today with a series of workshops and masterclasses. The online event ran for three days, March 24–26, streaming live in the Kuala Lampur time.
The discussions for this year’s event focused on “The Sound Future of Radio and Podcasting” and featured more than 60 speakers from around the globe.
Ezra Zaid, host and creator of The Ezra Zaid Project podcast, opened the event.
The first day’s sessions covered a broad range of subjects, including audio consumer trends, industry challenges, new technology, audience engagement and podcasting. Panels discussed the state of radio today and the radio of the future.
The second day’s morning sessions addressed the radio business, in particular the effects of the pandemic, how the industry coped and helped others cope, and its evolution for the future.
The afternoon sessions covered podcasting, with speakers from across Asia, Australia, North America and the United Kingdom.
Day three gave opportunities to learn, with choices from four live masterclasses and workshops presented by some of the event sponsors.
More than 400 people registered to participate, reported the Radiodays Asia. The sessions were recorded and are available to all registered participants on the Catch Up platform.
