World Radio Alliance releases latest global data on radio’s dominance

The fall show season continues with this week’s NAB New York show starting Tuesday with a day devoted to educational activities. The main show floor and other activities run Wednesday and Thursday, Oct. 9–10.
Not surprisingly a hot topic expected will be artificial intelligence and its place in the broadcast realm and its greater environs such as streaming and podcasting. A release says, “Attendees will explore AI-powered tools, advanced sports media solutions and next-gen content creation technologies. From AI analytics transforming sports broadcasting to state-of-the-art production equipment, NAB Show New York is a hub for discovering the latest innovations in media technology.”
The NAB is announcing that there’ll be 50 first-time exhibitors.
Of interest will be Wednesday’s “Radio + Podcast Interactive Forum,” described: “Discover winning strategies and network with trailblazing radio, podcast, tech, and marketing teams who leverage technology for programming, content, marketing and financial success.”
NAB Global Connections and Events Executive Vice President and Managing Director Karen Chupka said, “The fast pace of change in our industry requires solutions that help professionals stay ahead, and our exhibitors are answering that call with tools that transform how content is created, distributed and monetized.”
