World Radio Alliance releases latest global data on radio’s dominance

Munich radio station Gong 96.3 is staking out the claim to have a website powered by artificial intelligence. The first in Germany it adds.
A press release explains, “With a new design, a revised structure and improved user guidance, the website offers user-centered interaction.” Furthermore, the website “uses dynamic user guidance, a semantic direct search and a generative AI chat. This fully data-based solution enables personalized dialogues and provides AI-generated answers to users’ individual questions. The site also sets new standards in terms of accessibility, for example by enabling seamless translation of content into all languages.”
Gong 96.3 Managing Director Johannes Ott said, “We produce a lot of high-quality content and offer our listeners great service and attractive promotions. It is therefore important that they can find all of these offers quickly and easily. In collaboration with the Munich startup branchly GmbH, we have implemented an AI-based, interactive search function on a radio website for the first time.”
He adds, “Thanks to generative AI, simple, inflexible chatbots are a thing of the past. Thanks to the new technology, our users finally receive meaningful and helpful answers to their questions. Finding content and navigating our site is much easier.”
