The announcement added, “The project will deploy Factum Radioscape’s flagship MultiMuxa and MultiMonitor platforms, delivering a future-ready, fully redundant DAB+ system for the Ministry of Information (MOI).”
Furthermore, it continued, “The system upgrade includes main and backup configurations for full operational redundancy, ensuring high availability and reliability of service. Once deployed, the national multiplex will continue to carry 16 DAB+ radio services, including established stations such as Al Danah, Kuwait FM, and Easy 92.5.”
Kuwait began DAB+ service in 2014. The release explained “The new system will further enhance service stability, audio quality, and operational control across the network.”
Kuwaiti system integrator Abdulaziz Abdulmohsin Al-Rashed Sons Co. will provide the local work.
Factum Radioscape Sales Manager James Waterson said, “Our focus is not only to deliver cutting-edge technology, but also to support MOI’s engineering team through dedicated training and ongoing technical assistance in the years to come.”
