Jampro, manufacturer of antennas, combiners and filters and RF components, has a new Broadcast Hybrid Power solution that utilizes a mixture of solar, grid and battery energy.
According to the company, the new green solution powers up to 24 transmitters of 500 W in three configurations. These include grid+battery; grid+solar + battery; or solar+battery.
The choice among these key configurations will depend on the stability and availability of a local power grid, explains the firm. Users manage the three main configurations via the Energy Management System.
The Broadcast Hybrid Power system features switch‐mode rectifier modules and an “intelligent” controller with DC distribution. It also comes with incoming AC supply surge protection as standard.
Jampro says the unit offers easy front-access and supports a wide range of input voltage. This makes the system suitable for both remote and local monitoring.
Jampro adds that additional solar core is available for larger system requirements.
