Tanzania will receive nationwide coverage on its new FM radio network thanks to Jampro Antennas and its sister company AlanDick Broadcast. The antenna specialist, who has been manufacturing broadcast antenna systems in North America since 1954, was awarded the contract to provide the east African country with 22 antenna systems.
Jampro will install the ADB-FM1-4 bay vertically polarized antenna with the company’s RCBC bandpass filters to ensure no signal degradation. As part of the system integration, Jampro will also supply transmission line, connectors, and accessories to each site.
The ADB-FM1 vertically polarized FM antenna supports low-power FM radio stations with a 1 kW input. It supports a frequency band of 87.5 to 108 MHz and gain of 2 dB at 98 MHz.
Jampro and AlanDick Broadcast have a combined global installation base of over 65,000 broadcast installations.
