DTS report highlights importance of vehicle ownership and third-space role
The International Radio Festival, the global music radio jamboree, has announced plans to attend in force the Future of Media Exhibition, AKA FOMEX, in Saudi Arabia, Feb. 19–21.
A release indicated the IRF team wouldn’t merely be walking the show floor but having an “active participation and speaker support.”
FOMEX is a new show only in its second appearance, the first in November of 2022. In 2024 it will be at Riyadh’s Arena Riyadh Venue for Exhibitors. It is part of the third Saudi Media Forum that is sponsored by the Saudi Broadcasting Authority.
FOMEX organizers say the 2024 exhibition will “surpass expectations and pump innovation like blood!” Gotta love that enthusiasm.
The show looks to be aiming to be the media industry show piece for the MENA region saying that it will gather “creators and experts to idea-share, exploring latest tech and innovation, and unveiling exclusive showcases and inspirational panels reflecting the uniqueness of creativity and media evolution in the region.”
The 2022 show featured well-known exhibitors like Lawo, winMedia, Ampegon, ForA, Grass Valley, Harmonic, Hitachi, Panasonic, Rohde & Schwarz, Ross, Sony, SuperMicro and the Vitec Group.
