Podeo continues to leverage its position as the largest podcasting platform serving the Middle East and North Africa. In the last few months, it has signed with in-flight entertainment provider Anuvu, allowing it to deliver Arabic podcast content to in-flight passengers and inked a partnership deal with Rotana Media Services, the media marketing and advertising wing of Rotana Media Group, an Arabic media conglomerate predominantly owned by Saudi Billionaire Prince Al Waleed bin Talal. 

The multi-year deal sees Rotana as the advertising representative for Podeo, effectively connecting 50,000+ Podeo creators and publishers with a broad spectrum of sponsors and advertisers. In exchange, Podeo will host Rotana’s podcasts. The group, which is actively seeking to boost its podcast offering, will benefit from Podeo’s exclusive distribution network.

Commenting on the mutual benefits, Stefano Fallaha, founder and CEO of Podeo, said, “This partnership marks a pivotal achievement in our commitment to propel the exponential growth of the thriving podcast industry and continuously deliver on our mission.” He described it as a “transformative moment for podcasting in the MENA region.” He added that RMS’s proven track record would enable Podeo to maximize the revenue and recognition that podcasters rightfully deserve.

The CEO of Rotana Media Services, Nezar Nagro, said, “Rotana Media Services’ accomplished track record will enable us to solidify the rights of podcast content creators and increase their revenues. This partnership represents a significant achievement in our commitment to drive the exceptional growth of the thriving podcast industry in the region, which we consider part of our mission and social responsibility.”
