A recent press release from Xperi DTS makes note that, according to its “Top Most Listened-To Songs In-Vehicle for Q3 2024” data, Shaboozey’s “Bar Song (Tipsy)” takes the top spot in U.S. and globally; Sabrina Carter’s “Espresso” continues hot streak in Top Five and #1 in the U.K.; and Post Malone’s crossover country hit “I Had Some Help” debuts in the Top 5 in U.S. and globally.”
That U.S., U.K. and global data was teased out of the company’s AutoStage in-vehicle platform.
For the RedTech reader, who may not care much about “country” music, there is an importance here. The collection and quality of listener data are undergoing a big change, providing new insights never before available with a deepening granularity across multiple venues.
