NHK launches 24-hour shortwave radio service amid Iran crisis
U.S. radio show host Sean Brace is reuniting with former partner Jon Marks to co-host the WPEN(FM) midday, currently called “Middays with Marks.” The two had paired previously for the “Jon & Sean Show” on WPEN, 2013–2015.
WPEN is a sports talk station branding itself as “97.5 The Fanatic.” It is owned by Beasley Media Group.
Brace said of the new gig, “97.5 The Fanatic is where this all began for me. So, to come back and join Jon Marks & Ray Dunne five days a week is something I’m incredibly proud of.”
WPEN Program Director Scott Masteller said, “We’re thrilled to welcome Sean back to The Fanatic. He brings a deep understanding of Philadelphia sports, a strong connection with our audience, and great on-air chemistry with Jon.”
Beasley Media Group Philadelphia Vice President and Market Manager Paul Blake said, “Sean is back, and we’re better for it,” said. “He and Jon have proven chemistry and a shared competitive drive that fits this brand perfectly. Our fans expect passion and strong takes.”
