Summ’it aims to connect audiences through audio storytelling
Microphone and headphone maker beyerdynamic has selected Jesse Dean to “oversee beyerdynamic’s business operations, sales strategy, and brand development across North and South America,” according to an announcement.
Dean has 25 years working around audio and video equipment sales, most recently director of business development, Americas, for microphone maker Rode. He was also at one time a vice president of global sales for audio equipment maker Mackie.
beyerdynamic CEO Andreas Rapp said, “His work helping grow Rode into a leading prosumer brand speaks for itself — that kind of market-building instinct is rare, and it’s exactly what we need to continue accelerating beyerdynamic’s growth.”
Dean said, “What drew me to beyerdynamic was the rare combination of heritage, engineering excellence, and growing opportunity. Early in my career, I worked alongside a software engineer who simply would not use another headphone brand — that kind of trust doesn’t happen by accident.”
