Benztown has announced a new partnership with APM Music, providing radio stations with access to APM’s AI-powered production music library for either cash or barter. The service is designed to simplify music selection for commercial production, including on-air spots and digital advertising.
APM Music, a long-time player in the production music sector, offers a library of 1.3 million tracks across all genres, with more than 8,000 new tracks and 2,000 stemmed songs added monthly. Benztown says the platform’s advanced search tools — including natural language prompt search and a similar-song function — help producers quickly find suitable tracks. Playlists are curated by genre, mood, occasion and trend, and users can also access real-time support from APM music directors.
Benztown President Dave “Chachi” Denes said the partnership reflects a long-standing goal to streamline production for radio stations. “This has been the goal, to build something that gives stations the ability to have all their production needs fulfilled under one roof — not just to make things easier, but to help them save money without ever compromising on quality.”
He added that the deal now positions Benztown as offering a full-service solution, including 23 imaging libraries, access to over 150 voiceover talents on a barter basis, custom imaging, commercial production, and AI-generated spec spots via its SPECai joint venture.
APM Music President and CEO Adam Taylor said the agreement strengthens APM’s footprint in radio. “We are thrilled to have Benztown put APM’s unmatched music catalog at the fingertips of a very broad radio audience, further cementing our position in this vertical.”
