Broadcast Electronics is bringing a new AM transmitter to the NAB Show.
The first AMX is a 5 kW AM transmitter with a single-chassis 5 RU design. The company says that it is highly-efficient and light weight for easy shipping.

It sports silicon carbide MOSFETs for RF amplifiers and modulators along with dual power supplies for redundancy. Also included is modulation-dependent carrier level (MDCL) technology for further energy efficiency. As a cherry on top, so to say, is an onboard Orban Inside processor.
No surprise that the whole package can be monitored and operated via a web browser.
