According to ENCO IBC audiences will get their first look at the 3D capabilities of the company’s Talent Tracking tool for its Qimera virtual studio compositing software suite.
A press release noted that besides a cleaner and more accurate presentation the 3D Talent Tracking “also opens new creative and operational possibilities. Because Qimera understands the movement and position of the presenter, body movements and gestures can be used to trigger virtual production elements.”
Other Qimera upgrades include better performance with Unreal Engine 5.6 and Nvidia DLSS 4.5 along with improved Media Object Server-compatibility.
ENCO President Ken Frommert said, “Virtual production has reached the point where broadcasters can think beyond what the technology looks like and focus on what it allows their production teams to accomplish. European broadcasters in particular operate within very specific staffing and business environments. Qimera helps them make better use of the people and resources they already have, whether that means producing several programs from one studio, giving talent more control over the production environment or freeing technical staff to focus on higher-value responsibilities.”
ENCO will be at Stand 7.A34.
