Broadcast Electronics has released a new version of its AudioVault automation suite, AV-xI.
AV-xI focuses on a new GUI that’s heavy on customization, according to the company.
Broadcast Electronics President, and COO Rich Redmond said, “We are excited to bring an entirely new user experience to AudioVault with AV-xI, placing extensive flexibility in the hands of users — all at a very attractive price.”
BE Director of Software Solutions Joe Myers explained, “Working together with forward-looking broadcasters, we’ve identified key requirements needed in the new landscape of delivering content across multiple delivery platforms… AV-xI is a new way to interface with AudioVault that will open up new opportunities, simplify workflows and drive the consolidation of infrastructure and costs.”
The announcement added, “AV-xI provides a new and flexible layout framework with scalable docking positions allowing users to simply drag and drop any combination of up to 18 powerful AudioVault gadgets on to one screen to meet their programming and workflow needs.”
Some new features include module deck-stacking, remote contribution interfaces and interfacing with third-party apps such as console and transmitter remote controls.”
Operation for high-definition program material and streaming are also improved in AV-xI, plus it is designed to look better on big screens.
AV-xI is a free upgrade for AudioVault clients.
