
Berlin-based ai|coustics has raised €5 million in a seed round led by Partech, with participation from Acurio, Intuition, Arc, Connect, FOV Ventures and several angel investors including Mehdi Ghissassi, Gert Lanckriet, Hazel Savage and Thomas Wolf.
ai|coustics uses generative and reconstructive AI to deliver studio-quality sound from any voice recording, regardless of the device or environment. The company says its technology repairs missing audio frequencies and preserves the original speaker’s timbre, aligning with the growing demand for authenticity in voice AI.

The company offers both an API and SDK for audio enhancement, allowing developers and manufacturers to improve voice quality and reduce post-production work across communications and content platforms. Its clients include Elgato, DHD.audio, Deutsche Welle and Radio France, with partnerships spanning Infineon Technologies, Cadence, XMOS and Sieve. The company reports more than 500,000 users have enhanced over 2 million minutes of audio using its tools.
