Telos Alliance has launched the Axia iQs AES67 Mixing Console Software, a soft console controlled via HTML-5. It allows users to control their mix from anywhere and on any device — Mac, Windows, tablet, laptop or phone.
According to the company, the iQs springs from the Axia iQx AES67 console, which combines the mix engine and console into one chassis and allows users to plug right into their AoIP network.
The iQs is the software version of iQx, and offers console capability without a physical surface. Telos Alliance adds that it can be used in situations where there is a distributed/remote workforce, in nontraditional/temporary studio spaces or when multiple users need concurrent collaboration on a single mix.
Telos presented a webinar with Kirk Harnack and iQs developer, Milos Nemcik, to demo how the Axia iQs delivers virtualization’s promise of added scalability, adaptability, cost efficiencies, simple deployment and reliability. The March 17 event was recorded for on-demand viewing.
