Acast is providing six months of free access to its Influencer hosting plan to customers of Focusrite’s new Vocaster interfaces.

Focusrite says that its Vocaster interface is designed to be a next-step purchase for creators and addresses some of podcasters’ main pain points: sound quality and ease of use. Acast adds that its Infuencer hosting plan gives budding podcasters everything they need to start, manage and grow their podcast.

“Focusrite is the best in the business when it comes to audio tech, and our partnership gives creators the best possible start to their podcasting journey,” said Elana Gurevich, product marketing manager at Acast. “We believe every podcaster, from any background, should be able to find their audience and make money from their craft, on their own terms — so we’re providing the tools and resources to help them do exactly that.”

Focusrite’s new Vocaster interfaces are available in two models. Focusrite claims that Vocaster One is designed for solo podcasters while Vocaster Two is ideal for shows that feature two hosts, guests, and/or audio segments. This interface features two mic inputs and two headphone outputs for recording and listening back. It also has the ability to bring in guests over the phone over Bluetooth or a single cable.

In addition, Focusrite’s Studio Packs provide a bundle of equipment to enable beginners to start recording high-quality podcasts quickly and easily. Both studio packages include the Vocaster interface; a Focusrite Vocaster dynamic mic and HP60v closed-back studio headphones.

Nicholas Howlett, head of brand and marketing for Focusrite, said: “Focusrite puts creators’ needs at the forefront of every decision we make — an ethos we share with Acast. By bringing our two brands together, we’re learning how to better serve our customers and ultimately see more creators empowered to share their stories.”

Acast and Focusrite have pledged to expand their partnership; the companies say they will be working together to keep creators at the heart of future product development.

Vocaster will be available to order now at Focusrite, Amazon, and other audio equipment retailers.
