AEQ has announced its distributors of the year awards for 2021. In announcing the winners, AEQ referred to those distributors that had performed particularly well in the face of the coronavirus epidemic.
Those highlighted were Tommex from Poland, Falcon Technologies from India and Jamiro Broadcast from Kenya.
Part of AEQ’s commercial network since 2019, Tommex specializes in integrating audiovisual solutions in broadcast, corporate and multimedia environments in Poland. Despite the challenges of Covid-19, Tommex has managed multiple intercom system installations in production centers, theaters and sports halls in 2021.
New Delhi-based Falcon Technologies is the broadcast division of the Eagle Group and has been AEQ’s official distributor in India for more than 20 years. AEQ said that in 2021 Falcon proved its capabilities with two ambitious projects involving installations in 33 different cities – a significant logistical and security challenge, more so in the face of the Covid-19 pandemic.
Jamiro Broadcast is one of the last members of AEQ’s family of distributors. In 2020 it won AEQ’s award for best new distributor in Africa. The Nairobi-based company’s primary focus is the design and installation of radio studios, and in 2021 it completed several projects with AEQ Forum mixing consoles in Kenya.
