Commercial radio reaches 12.8 million weekly listeners, CRA reports
At the 2026 NAB Show in Las Vegas, Xperi used its “2 Mins of Tech” interview with RedTech to outline its latest developments in HD Radio and DTS AutoStage, with particular emphasis on the new DTS AutoStage Broadcaster Portal.
During the interview, George Cernat explained how the platform was developed to give broadcasters direct visibility into listener behavior inside connected vehicles. The portal provides access to station performance data, metadata interaction and audience activity, offering broadcasters a clearer picture of how listeners engage with radio services in the dashboard environment.
The company positioned the platform as part of a broader move toward more measurable and interactive in-car radio, where broadcasters can use real-time connected-car analytics to inform both programming and commercial decisions.
