WorldDAB will return to IBC2025 this September with its annual Sunday afternoon session, spotlighting the global momentum behind DAB+ and its role in shaping the future of broadcast radio.
The session takes place on Sunday, Sept. 14, from 2:30 to 4 p.m. CEST in Room E102 at the RAI Amsterdam. Attendance is free with an IBC visitor pass.

WorldDAB President Jacqueline Bierhorst will open the session with an overview of international DAB+ developments. She will be joined by Lindsay Cornell, chair of WorldDAB’s Technical Committee, who will present updates on DAB+ Automatic Safety Alerts.
Other confirmed speakers include Bruno Cigrovski, head of broadcasting systems at OIV, and Dr. David Fernández Quijada, co-founder and research director at South 180, who will provide insight into Europe’s evolving digital radio landscape. WorldDAB says additional speakers will be announced soon.
WorldDAB Project Director Bernie O’Neill will moderate the session, and a networking coffee reception will follow it.
