Cumulus Media has announced that Indianapolis country station 95.5 WFMS-FM and the Central Indiana Chevy Dealers have again partnered to collect toys for area kids in need that will “Stuff the Studio” and bring holiday cheer to members of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Indianapolis. The station will broadcast live daily from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., Monday, Nov. 27 through to Friday, Dec. 1, at select locations across Central Indiana, where it will accept donations of new toys and gifts onsite for boys and girls ages 5-17.
Cumulus says that given current economic conditions, budgeting for holiday toys is not always an option for Club families, half of whom earn an annual household income below $25,000. Donating a new toy or gift for Club members aged 5-17 will help many who may not typically share in the season’s joy.
Taylor J., on-air Personality, 95.5 WFMS-FM, thanked the drive’s sponsors and said, “The 95.5 WFMS family of listeners and staff always look forward to coming together to help ensure every boy and girl across Central Indiana has a joyful Christmas.”
Maggie A. Lewis, CEO of Boys & Girls Clubs of Indianapolis, said, “We are grateful to once again be selected by the 95.5 WFMS team as their charity partner for this holiday project. The community’s generosity will help us provide hope and opportunity for our Club kids this holiday season.”
