The Telos Alliance has released an update to its Infinity IP Intercom platform. Version 1.7 adds some new embedded software features and replaces Dashboard Basic and Dashboard Advanced with Dashboard Application and Dashboard Server.
Dashboard Application is a standalone PC application for small- to medium-sized Infinity systems for a single user. It’s available in licenses for systems of up to 24 devices. Dashboard Server is for medium- to large-sized installations with multiple users.
There is no longer a free option for Dashboard. Dashboard Basic users will need to upgrade.
This latest version offers Infinity Link Lite, which let’s users connect panels and beltpacks remotely via the Internet. Other new features are support for SMPTE ST2022-7 seamless protection switching; a bonded failover mode in case of network failure; access to the panel and beltpack remote control function as a “Docked View” in Dashboard; and assignable onscreen GPI scene triggers.
In addition, a new four-channel beltpack for Infinity is now available, with support in Dashboard.
On the hardware side, Telos is offering new protective sleeves for the beltpacks. The company explains the neoprene protectors will help reduce wear and tear as well as transfer heat outwards from the active device. They are available in packs of five.
