U.S.-based radio equipment manufacturer Telos Alliance will be at the IBC (8.C45) in force with the latest from several of its marques.
The Altus is a new soft console for Axia Audio. It is designed for everything from the desktop to the smartphone so it can be the basis of a small studio or go on the road for remotes. It starts with four faders but can be scaled up to 24 faders in groups of four.
It will also interface with the Telos VX phone system via the VX Call Controller. Axia Pathfinder Core Pro provides overall control. Each soft fader has mix-minus and three-band EQ. Memory can store show profiles.
Also of interest to the radio broadcaster should be Forza, a soft multiband digital audio processor from the Omnia audio processor line. Forza is aimed at DAB, DRM and HD Radio duties along with handling streaming processing. Telos says, “Forza’s all-new AGCs and multiband limiters breathe new life into the traditional five-band processor design. Omnia’s highly-regarded Sensus codec conditioning is included, bringing sparkle and clarity to low-bitrate streams, and a new LUFS target-driven ITU-R BS.1770 loudness controller makes it simple to comply with streaming platform requirements.”
