Following on the recent update of its Quasar soft console software, the Telos Alliance announces another planned software update, this time for its Omnia Audio Forza software-based processors.
Version 2.2 for the Forza FM and Version 1.4 for the Forza HDS “will benefit from the addition of a stereo enhancer, providing stations with an additional tool for creating their own customized on-air sound.” The update for the Forza FM also “enables a comprehensive built-in RDS system as a standard feature”
Plus, according to the announcement, “Nielsen PPM encoding joins Kantar watermarking as an option via license key in both Forza FM and Forza HDS.”
The Forza FM is designed for FM/HD1 signals while the Forza HDS is optimized for HD, DAB, and streaming audio applications.
Telos Alliance Product Manager for Omnia and 25-Seven Geoff Steadman explained, “These features have been on the Forza product roadmap since its introduction, and we are pleased to be able to offer them to our current and future Forza customers.”
Expected release of the V2.2 and 1.4 updates is the second quarter of 2025 but to get a sneak peek, the Telos Alliance will be in Booth N721 at the NAB Show showing them off.
